Since the ’50s Mattei, a collector of masterpieces of twentieth century art, was a passionate supporter of art. Today eni actively contributes to numerous exhibitions in Italy and abroad, thanks to partnerships with prestigious museums.
1955 saw the publication of the first issue of the magazine “Il Gatto Selvatico” which would feature the work of writers such as Gadda, Dessi, Ginzburg, Parise and Sciascia. Since 2008, Eni has been a partner of the Mantua Literary Festival with its own event titled “Unpublished energy”.
